The viewer plunge at CNN, which just recorded its lowest ratings in 20 years, is presenting a “challenge” to the Cable News Network to fight back against scrappier and more provocative cable networks, according to network anchor John King.

King said CNN is trying to “be in the middle and have all sides.” He then said that Matthews and MSNBC are “left, and far left,” prompting Matthews to say, “that is not true.” King responded, “how is it not true?” It ended up with King taking a shot at “advocacy” journalism versus CNN’s “more objective style,” though he conceded that MSNBC’s is a good business model

BALTIMORE - Two weeks ago, J. Paul Reddam's I'll Have Another ran down pacesetter Bodemeister to take the Kentucky Derby under the Twin Spires at Churchill Downs. On Saturday, I'll Have Another took on that pacesetting rival in the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes and gutted out a neck victory to take the second jewel of the Triple Crown at Pimlico.

It's now on to the Belmont Stakes in New York for the Doug O'Neill-trained I'll Have Another, who will attempt to become the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed swept all three races in 1978.

...yesterday someone from South Carolina hacked our local pizza parlor and stole our debit card number.  Today at noon my wife went to the pizza parlor to buy her lunch and overheard the conversation about the hacking between employees, it's the third time.

At 12:30 a $1.00 transaction showed up on the bank account testing the card.  We spent two hours on the phone between the bank, Visa and vendor alerting the fraud.  The debit card number is now void and classified as stolen.

This evening my wife went to Sam's Club to buy groceries alone, like she's been doing for 20+ years.  A tall white man asked her for cash in the parking lot because he was out of work.  She didn't have cash or a debit card from earlier today.  He walked away and then ran back to steal her purse while she was loading the groceries.

Another man scared him off after the screaming.  911 was called and the cops took a report, told her to go home.  I found out after it was all over or I'd be in the woods right now with my AR hunting thugs.

Occupy Sam's Club and tax the rich, it's getting warm outside.
